The chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said the Bahraini people should enjoy the right to free elections. “The unarmed Bahraini people have sought the right to vote and free elections in their country, but their demand has been responded to with weapons in a violent way,” lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi said in a meeting between Iranian lawmakers and Bahraini activists in Tehran on Monday, ICANA reported.
