A member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said on Saturday the western parties to the Iran nuclear talks raise new issues to exhaust the Iranian negotiating team to achieve their “illegitimate demands,” Mehr news agency reported. Esmaeil Kosari criticized the western powers for their insistence that the UN arms embargo against Iran be kept in place if a nuclear deal is reached, saying while they are the largest arms suppliers to other countries, they make such excessive demands. “Based on what law should Iran be deprived of the right (to trade in conventional arms)?”
