At the open session of Parliament on Sunday, First Deputy Majlis Speaker Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard thanked the diplomats engaged in nuclear talks with major powers for making "arduous efforts" and putting up "praiseworthy resistance" against excessive demands by the United States and some other negotiating parties, IRNA reported. He also said the country's economy and progress should not be tied to the outcome of nuclear talks.
