Election Law to Be Revised

First Deputy Interior Minister Hosseinali Amiri told IRNA on Monday that the election law is to be revised so that the regulations concerning the conduct of elections will be “integrated” and consolidated.  He also said the interior ministry is reviewing the elections law, adding the draft of the new law, which is aimed facilitating the process of holding elections and increasing people’s participation, will be prepared taking into account the administration’s views.
