Iran provides military advice to the resistance groups that struggle against Israel, the head of the public relations department of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said on Thursday. “Our advisory help to Palestinian resistance groups is not a covert effort and has been announced many times by the relevant officials. We regard it as our right to help the groups,” Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said, IRNA reported. “Our defense experts have made great efforts to provide advice to help improve the capabilities of Islamic resistance groups… and Palestinian and Lebanese groups have managed to overcome the equipped army of the occupying (Israeli) regime… using and indigenizing the experience of our combatants in the Sacred Defense (the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war).”
