The chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee told ICANA on Friday the last-minute shift in the US position in the nuclear talks indicates the fact that Washington is under Israel’s pressure. “Despite agreements reached between the Islamic Republic and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) over the past few days, the Americans shifted their position last night under the pressure by the Zionists,” lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi said. “The matter indicates lack of strong will on the part of the United States and its P5+1 allies due to the Zionists’ pressure.” He added that decisions in the talks are made based on the red lines set by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
