A member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission is upbeat about the ongoing talks between Iran and the major powers on a final nuclear deal, ISNA reported on Sunday.
“Over the next few days we will hear good news about the negotiations,” lawmaker Kazem Jalali said. He pointed to the red lines set by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for a nuclear agreement and said, “Undoubtedly, the negotiators will strongly defend national interests taking into account the red lines.” Jalali said the Islamic Republic will never abandon its principles and “no pressure will compel us to give up national interests and the people’s rights.”
