The Foreign Ministry denounced Israel’s recent seizure of a Gaza-bound Swedish-flagged boat leading an aid flotilla to break the long-time blockade on the coastal strip.
The seizure of the Marianne of Gothenburg by Israeli forces in international waters, the inhumane blockade imposed on the people of Gaza, and last summer’s war on Gaza are all completely against international law, Press TV quoted Foreign Ministry spokesperson Marzieh Afkham as saying on Wednesday.
She called on international organizations and foreign governments to break the silence on Israeli atrocities in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the blockade on Gaza should be lifted.
