Managed Access Rejected

The deputy chairman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces told Tasnim news agency on Saturday UN inspectors will not be granted even “managed access” to military facilities under a prospective nuclear deal with major powers.

“Any inspection of or access to the military centers of the Islamic Republic of Iran by foreigners under the names of the safeguards agreement or the Additional Protocol is prohibited,” Lieutenant General Massoud Jazayeri said.  “It is obvious that we are not allowed to provide foreigners with our military information. The Americans and their allies have been trying for years to access our military information; and it is wishful thinking that they are now able to fulfill their wish due to the pressure of sanctions.”
