Chairman of the Guardians Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati was elected as chairman of the supervisory board for the Feb. 26, 2016 parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections in the meeting of the board on Wednesday, IRNA reported. Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, chairman of the Assembly of Experts, Mohammad Reza Alizadeh and Siamak Rahpeik were also elected as deputy chairman, secretary and spokesperson respectively.
