West Should Build Trust

A member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission told ICANA on Sunday it is time for the West to build confidence to help advance efforts to reach a deal to resolve the dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program.
Mohammad Hassan Asafari said, “Iran has taken the necessary confidence-building measures and today it is the other side’s turn to address Iran’s demands.”
He also referred to the bill requiring the negotiators to safeguard nuclear achievements in talks with the major powers, whose outlines were approved by parliament on Sunday, and said, “In view of the legislation… the other side should be aware that Iran will never give up its nuclear rights.”
