Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said speculating on the extension of the Iran nuclear talks is unnecessary. He made the remarks when asked whether the participants will manage to finalize an agreement on Tehran’s nuclear program by the June 30 deadline, Sputnik reported on Friday. The work is more important than the completion date and it should continue without “reading tea leaves” over how long it will take, he said. “The prospects of ending the talks on the Iranian nuclear (issue) in due time should be secondary in comparison to resolving the problem itself.”
