Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Bogdanov discussed the latest developments in the region, including in Syria, Yemen and Libya, in a telephone conversation on Friday, IRNA reported. The two officials underlined the necessity of putting a halt to Saudi-led military attacks on Yemen, an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid to the war-affected people. They also called for efforts to find a political solution to the Yemen crisis by holding dialogue.
