Deputy Majlis Speaker Mohammad Reza Bahonar announced on Tuesday the impeachment session for Education Minister Ali Asghar Fani will be held next Wednesday, IRNA reported. Bahonar said despite the explanations provided by Fani in his meetings with members of the Majlis Education and Research Commission and backers of the impeachment motion, there are still over ten signatures on the request, so the minister should appear before Parliament to defend himself.
