Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan said on Sunday the policy of world powers on the Middle East has caused the critical situation in the region, IRNA reported. “The current developments in the region are the result of some world powers’ efforts to return to the region,” he said.
“They seek to create threats in the region to pave the way for their presence.” He also said Muslim countries’ resources and infrastructure are being destroyed due to conflicts, stressing that it is evident that the United States and Israel have a hand in the events. In addition, he said, “Despite the current situation in the region, Iran enjoys security and is in control of the situation, a fact which is considered an important achievement for the administration.”
