The head of the election headquarters told Fars News Agency on Sunday the Interior Ministry has written a letter signed by Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli to the Guardians Council to obtain the supervisory body's final approval for holding the 2016 parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections electronically in nine metropolises. Mohammad Hossein Moqimi said the ministry and the council have had close cooperation regarding electronic voting.
