French Lawmakers Visit

A six-member French parliamentary delegation, led by Deputy Chairman of the Senate’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces Daniel Reiner, arrived in Tehran on Monday to hold talks with Iranian officials on bilateral ties, IRNA reported.
The lawmakers, who have traveled to Iran at the invitation of Deputy Chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Ahmad Reza Dastgheib, are scheduled to meet Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi and Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian and Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour, among other officials, during their four-day stay.
