Condolences to Ghana

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Marzieh Afkham issued a statement on Sunday extending condolences to the people and government of Ghana over the recent deadly floods hitting the capital Accra and the incidents that followed the disaster, Fars news agency reported.  An explosion at a petrol station in Accra and flooding caused by torrential rains killed around 150 people on Thursday, marking the worst disaster to strike the West African country in more than a decade, Reuters reported. Afkham expressed sympathy with the families of the victims and said the Iranian Embassy in Accra is ready to provide medical services to the injured people.
