The adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Muslim world affairs said on Sunday the Saudis will face the consequences of their interference in Yemen.
“The Saudis are already defeated and have reached a dead end, and they will drown in the quagmire of Yemen,” Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri said in a meeting of seminary teachers in Qom, ISNA reported.
The Saudis were forced to seek the mediation of Oman to secure a peace conference in Geneva (which is scheduled to be held on June 14), “while Ansarullah [affiliated with the Houthis] is making progress every day.”
