A foreign ministry official condemned Saudi Arabia’s relentless air raids on Yemen, calling on Riyadh to put an end to its war campaign which has resulted in the destruction of Yemen’s infrastructure and deaths of civilians.
“Saudi Arabia’s military attack on Yemen was beneath the dignity of a Muslim country,” Hossein Amir Abdollahian, deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs, said in a meeting with a number of Jordanian political and media figures in Tehran on Tuesday, Press TV reported. He criticized certain sides for fomenting violence in the region through their interventionist policies as well as military actions.
