The election headquarters issued an announcement on Tuesday saying the registration of candidates for the Feb. 26, 2016 parliamentary election will be conducted from December 19 to 25 at the headquarters in Tehran and the central offices of governors in constituencies, IRNA reported. The announcement reiterated that the candidates who hold government posts are obliged by the law to resign at least six months before the start of the registration and summit the relevant certification.
