A senior advisor to the Leader has described as “positive” and “constructive” President Hassan Rouhani’s recent visit to New York, where he attended the 69th UN General Assembly meeting. The president’s remarks on Iran’s nuclear issue in his speeches and meetings were “firm” and “clear”, Ali Akbar Velayati, the director of the Expediency Council’s Center for Strategic Research, told reporters on late Tuesday.
He also said Rouhani’s visit to the Russian city of Astrakhan on Monday to attend the 4th summit of the Caspian Sea littoral states was “successful”.
