The advisor to the Leader on international affairs said the nuclear negotiators will continue their activities within a specified framework and based on the guidelines of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei until the negotiations with the major powers on a final nuclear deal reach a conclusion.

Ali Akbar Velayati made the remarks in Beijing in an interview with IRNA on Wednesday.  He headed a delegation to China to take part in the first annual meeting of the non-governmental forum of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) that ended on Tuesday.

Hailing the efforts by the negotiators in the course of nuclear talks with the six major powers known as the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany), he said in the ongoing round of talks the negotiators are committed to the same set of principles as they used to be in previous rounds of negotiations.

He said the most important principle in the talks is observing the red lines set by Leader, noting that the negotiating diplomats are fortunately well aware of the red lines and adhere to them.

The director of the Center for Strategic Research of the Expediency Council also said Iranian diplomats are under no pressure in the course of talks, adding that the talks are conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.
