Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry are scheduled to meet in Geneva today as part of nuclear talks between Iran and the major powers on a final deal to settle the 12-year dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program, IRNA reported.
Deputy Foreign Ministers Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi and US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman and Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz will be present at the meeting.
Expert-level talks between Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany), which started in Vienna on Tuesday, are still ongoing.
