Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan said on Thursday the Islamic State militant group is unable to pose a threat to Iranian borders, stressing that the Islamic Republic does not regard the group as a threat, Fars news agency reported. "The Daesh (the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) lacks the capability and capacity to threaten Iranian borders," Dehqan said.  "The power of Iran's security, military and police forces is to the extent that it can counter any move by the group before they take action."
