There is currently serious potential for finalizing an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program and the chance should not be missed, Sputnik quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying on Wednesday. Only joint efforts by the international community can help find solutions to difficult and complex international problems, “and this has happened during the successful settlement with Syrian chemical weapons, and during talks on Iran’s nuclear program, where thanks to constructive adjustment of all the participants a serious potential for reaching an overall agreement has been formed,” Lavrov said in a speech before the Russian upper house of parliament. He added that “the possibility should not be missed” to prevent a return to “methods of pressure” against Iran.
