Lawmaker Sharif Hosseini told ISNA on Monday the election of the Majlis presiding board will be held during an open session of parliament next Tuesday. He said members of the presiding board will be elected for a one-year term, adding that the parliamentarians will meet Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on May 27 concurrent with the start of the last year of the ninth Majlis' four-year term.
