Heads of the three branches of government held a meeting at the presidential office on Saturday, IRNA reported.
President Hassan Rouhani, Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani exchanged views about major domestic and regional issues.
They highlighted the importance of continuing consultations with other countries and using the potential to promote cooperation with regional states to help ease tensions and bring calm to the region.
On the Yemeni crisis, they underlined the need to put an end to the Saudi-led attacks against the Arab country, send humanitarian aid to “the oppressed Yemeni people” and establish “Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue.”
