Deputy Interior Minister Mohammad Hossein Moqimi said on Thursday the government's approach to the 2016 parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections is to adhere to "the important principle of impartiality," calling on the officials involved in the running of the elections to observe the principle, IRNA reported. The head of the election headquarters, who was talking in a meeting with representatives of political parties in Gorgan, also said expansion of parties' activities can help promote "political vitality" in the society.
