Sean Barrett, speaker of the lower house of the Irish Parliament, highlighted the "key role" Iran can play to help promote stability and security in the Middle East. He made the remarks in a meeting with Ambassador to Dublin Javad Kachouian, IRNA reported on Friday. The senior Irish lawmaker also described a planned visit by Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani to Ireland as "an important step" toward enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
