Support for Ghani

Vice President for Executive Affairs Mohammad Shariatmadari made a trip to Afghanistan to attend the inauguration ceremony of new Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Monday.  "Iran is willing to enhance its relations with the new government in Afghanistan," he said before leaving Tehran, the Mehr news agency reported. He was scheduled to hold meetings with the new Afghan president and the new chief executive Abdullah Abdullah.
