A member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said on Wednesday parliament will oppose any extraordinary inspection regime under a prospective nuclear deal with the major powers, ICANA reported.

Lawmaker Ahmad Shouhani said, “The inspection of military centers and facilities are among the red lines of the Islamic Republic,” adding, “Iran has so far moved within the framework of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and we will not allow such inspections which go beyond legal frameworks.”

“As the foreign minister has said, the inspection of military sites has no place in the negotiations (with the major powers), and the talks are focused on nuclear issues.”
