Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said anti-terror measures which run counter to international law are costly for the region and world.
“The willful methods and actions to combat terrorism which are outside the framework of international law are costly for the region and the international system,” he said in a meeting with the political director of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, Ina Marciulionyte, in Tehran on Saturday. “A realistic approach should be adopted toward regional issues and developments. If the realities in the region are not taken into consideration, terrorism will not be eradicated,” IRNA quoted him as saying.
