A former ambassador to the United Nation said on Tuesday "Iran's deterrence power" provides the most important backing for the negotiating diplomats engaged in nuclear talks with the major powers, IRNA reported. Mohammad Sadeq Kharazi said, "It is not only political negotiation that brings dignity for the Iranian nation, but the Islamic Iran's deterrence power, which today can be observed in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Yemen against the will of western powers, has provided the most important backing for the negotiating team."
