Pakistan Asked to Turn Over Terrorists

The deputy interior minister for security affairs asked the Islamabad government to turn over to Iran the terrorists recently arrested in Pakistani territory who had carried out cross-border attacks against Iranian security forces.
“We hope that members of terrorist groups who have been arrested by Pakistani forces will be handed over to Iranian judicial officials in the shortest time possible,” Hossein Zolfaqari told IRNA on Friday after a meeting between Iranian and Pakistani security officials in Islamabad.
He also said the extradition of criminals, the campaigns against terrorism and smuggling, and the measures to curb illegal movements across the joint border were among the main topics discussed in the meeting.
