The commander of the army's drone division said on Tuesday the force's drones are planned to be equipped with missiles and rockets, ISNA reported. Colonel Reza Khaki said efforts have been made to access advanced technologies concerning the development of drones, adding upgraded unmanned aerial vehicles will be used in the future war games.
He said the army has developed the capability both to manufacture new missile-firing UAVs and fit rockets on the existing drones.
