Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri described the recently reached preliminary nuclear understanding between Iran and the major powers as a “win-win” agreement for Iran and the United States, which was the result of “years of resistance against international pressure,” Fars news agency reported on Sunday citing Elnashra news website. “Iran should take credit for standing up to the United States and European countries and even Russia, which was not detached from nuclear pressure on Iran, an even China and managing to engage in negotiations maturely,” Berri said, adding, “Iran’s acumen helped it resist pressure patiently for years without forgoing its nuclear technology.”
