Terror Fails in Syria

Terror Fails in Syria Terror Fails in Syria

Terrorism has failed in Syria and is close to its end, the deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs told IRNA on Wednesday. “We are honored to announce that the Islamic Republic stood by Syria and did not let it end up like Somalia and Libya,” Hossein Amir Abdollahian noted. He said Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s role in preserving national unity and fighting against terrorism is undeniable, emphasizing Tehran will continue supporting Syria.

It is wrong to think that that the region can be safe without Syria enjoying security, as security is an “integrated” concept, he said.  Iran cares about maintaining security in the Middle East by ensuring security in every single country in the region including Syria, he added.
