A senior nuclear negotiator said any nuclear agreement between Iran and the major powers should be endorsed by the United Nations Security Council. “Under international law, if the Security Council approves the deal, it will be binding for all governments,” Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said in an interview with state television on Sunday. He added, “Sanctions are one of the serious issues in the negotiations, and we have always stressed that nothing is agreed until everything is agreed.”
