IAEA Meeting in Mid-April

The next round of discussions between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency will be held in Tehran in mid-April, the ambassador to the UN nuclear agency said on Monday after the end of a one-day meeting between Iranian and IAEA delegations in the capital. Reza Najafi also said in Monday’s meeting, Iranian and IAEA officials explored ways of speeding up cooperation to help resolve the “outstanding issues” concerning Tehran’s nuclear activities, IRNA reported. IAEA Deputy Director General Tero Varjoranta reported progress in exchanging information on Iran’s nuclear program.  “These issues ... take time to be resolved and we have been resolving them,” Varjoranta told journalists in Vienna on return from the Tehran meeting, Reuters reported.
