Describing the latest developments in the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany), Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined Tehran's policy to deepen its regional relations, ISNA reported.
Palestinian Ambassador Salah al-Zawawi, who is the dean of Arab ambassadors to Iran, also attended the meeting where the latest developments in the region and ways to increase bilateral relations were discussed.
The two sides underlined the necessity to boost cooperation to address the current critical situation in the region, fight terrorism and extremism, and maintain vigilance to foil the Israeli regime's plots.
The Arab envoys also stressed the need for enhanced cooperation to attain unanimity to deal with the existing challenges and threats facing the Muslim world.
