The Polish capital Warsaw was host to a ceremony to celebrate the 540th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and Poland.
The event was organized by the Iranian Embassy in Poland in collaboration with the archive office of the Iranian Foreign Ministry and Poland’s national archives, ISNA reported on Sunday.
Pointing to the “long” and “positive” diplomatic relations, Ambassador to Poland Ramin Mehmanparast said, “Both countries intend to promote mutual relations and dealings in political and economic areas.”
Highlighting the importance of cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries, he said Iran and Poland can work together to get into new Asian and European markets.
