Report on Alleged Secret Nuclear Site “Baseless”

The mission to the United Nations issued a statement on Wednesday saying the Washington Post's report that Iran has a secret nuclear facility under a military building on the outskirts of Tehran is "baseless".
The statement also said, "It is a matter of regret that this newspaper has published the false and repetitive allegations of a terrorist group, whose inhumane nature is evident to everybody, particularly the American people, and whose previous claims have proved to be forged."
The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that an Iranian dissident group had accused the Tehran government of conducting secret research with the aim of developing nuclear weapons.
The newspaper quoted the so-called National Council of Resistance of Iran as claiming that the underground facility in suburban Tehran had been used since 2008 to enrich uranium.
