Turkmenistan Releases Fishermen

Turkmenistan has released 10 Iranian nationals, who had been held in the Central Asian country’s prisons mainly on charges of illegal entry into Turkmen territory, following diplomatic efforts by the foreign ministry, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.  The released Iranians include the four fishermen who had been arrested by the Turkmen police late last year after entering Turkmen waters inadvertently.
