The interior minister said it is one of the foreign policy priorities of the administration of President Hassan Rouhani to increase “interactions” with neighboring countries and take advantage of their potential.
Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli made the remarks in his speech at the closing ceremony of the conference on resistance economy and foreign relations in Tehran on Monday, according to the website of the Interior Ministry.
He also highlighted the role of ambassadors in facilitating the implementation of plans to improve foreign relations to help promote “production” and “economic development”.
In addition, the minister expressed hope that the conference would pave the way for greater cooperation with neighboring countries.
