President Ebrahim Raisi said the Israeli regime’s efforts for normalization with certain Arab and Muslim countries will not produce a result since the first and strongest opponents of this process are the very people of those states.
“One of the purposes of these efforts of the Zionists is to make the Palestinian youth disappointed about reclaiming their occupied lands,” he said in a meeting with Ziyad al-Nakhalah, leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and his accompanying delegation in Tehran on Monday, President.ir reported.
He added that the Palestinian nation is more united than ever while the Zionist society, on the other hand, is more divided than ever and is showing signs of downfall.
“Final victory is at hand and is for the proud people of Palestine,” he said.
Al-Nakhalah described Iran as an important and influential country in regional and international developments, saying the Palestinian nation are thankful for the Islamic Republic’s continuous support.
He also briefed the president about the achievements of resistance forces and weaknesses of the Israeli regime.
This was evidenced by Israel’s compulsion to reach an agreement with resistance forces in the latest round of conflicts, according to al-Nakhalah.
“This is a great victory and an outcome of Palestinians’ adherence to resistance,” he said.
The Palestinian resistance leader also met Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian during his stay.
The Iranian diplomat reiterated the Islamic Republic’s support of the Palestinian cause and the nation’s legitimate resistance against occupiers, calling it the central issue of the Muslim world.
He said the apartheid Zionist regime is the main source of insecurity and instability in the region, calling for concerted and positive efforts by Muslim countries to stop its antihuman crimes against the oppressed people of Palestine and support for Islamic sanctities in Beit-ul-Moqaddas.
Al-Nakhalah said Palestinian fighters are in their best status in terms of preparedness and unity against the Zionist regime and are able to stand against any aggression and notch up great victories thanks to the unswerving support of the Palestinian nation.

Greatest Harm

Also on Monday, Chairman of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh also arrived in Tehran at the head of a delegation.
He met Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian in the morning to discuss regional issues and the latest political developments in Palestine, as well as ways to promote unity among resistance groups.
Ahmadian said the most efficient strategy to end over 75 years of occupation of Palestine is resistance.
“Promoting unity among Muslims, especially regional resistance players, inflicts the greatest harm to the Zionist enemy and its supporters,” he said, warning about efforts to create division among resistance groups.
The top security official also hailed the achievements of Hamas, saying Palestinian resistance who once fought to defend itself in Gaza, is now prepared enough to show presence in the West Bank.
Haniyeh appreciated Iran’s exceptional role in promoting unity and cooperation in the Muslim world and among Palestinian groups.
He also presented a report of the latest developments in politics and on Palestinian lands, as well as the resistance forces’ plans to preserve and promote their initiative in standing against Israel.
