Relations between Iran and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas are on the mend, a senior member of the organization said. Mahmoud al-Zahar said Iran-Hamas relations are experiencing "continued improvement", ISNA reported on Saturday. A Palestinian delegation recently travelled to Tehran to hold meetings with Iranian officials to prepare the ground for Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal's trip. No news has been released regarding any date set for the visit.
