In a meeting with First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri in Baghdad on Monday, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri said Iran has been the Arab country's "main backer" in the campaign against terrorism, IRNA reported. He also said differences among regional countries benefit enemies, expressing hope that Iran's "positive role" could help resolve the challenges facing the region. In addition, he said Baghdad hopes that increased interaction will help raise the level of political and economic ties between the two countries.
