Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said all compromise plans with the Zionist regime have been voided thanks to the expansion of the resistance movement across the Palestinian lands in recent years.
“No plan about Palestine is practicable in the absence and against the will of its real owners, which means all previous agreements, such as the Oslo Accord, the Arabian two-state solution, the Deal of the Century or recent undignified normalization agreements are nullified,” he said in an address to the people of Palestine in Arabic on the occasion of the International Quds Day on Friday, Leader.ir reported.
Four countries from the Arab league, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Sudan and Morocco, established diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime in 2020. The move was seen by the Islamic Republic as a betrayal to the Palestinian cause.
Egypt and Jordan had already signed peace treaties with Israel in 1979 and 1994 respectively.
Nevertheless, recent developments are signaling a new equation in the present and future of Palestine, according to the Leader.
“Today, an invincible willpower in Palestine and throughout West Asia has replaced the invincible army of the Zionists and the criminal army has been forced to turn its aggressive formation into a defensive one,” he said.
The Israeli regime, he added, is fraught with a network of political and military problems, such as Jihadi movements by Palestinians in the territories occupied in 1948 and the demand by 70% of their population for attacks against the regime, as well as massive rallies in Jordan and Eastern Beit-ul-Moqaddas, brave defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Palestinian youth, and the military maneuvers in Gaza.
“All of Palestine has turned into a scene of resistance and the people of Palestine are unanimous about continuing this struggle,” he said.

Power of Resistance

Meanwhile, Israel’s most important supporter, the United States, has also suffered consecutive defeats, as in its war in Afghanistan, its maximum pressure policy against Iran, its attempt to control global economy and the management of its domestic affairs, as well as in the face of Asian powers, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
He also censured Europe and the US who make extravagant claims about human rights and created a commotion on the issue of Ukraine, while keeping totally silent about crimes in Palestine.
“Not only do they not defend the innocent people, they also help that bloodthirsty wolf.”
The lesson to be learned is that not to rely on these racist powers, according to the Leader.
“Only with the power that comes from resistance, which originates in the teachings of the Quran and the religious rulings of dear Islam can one resolve the issues of the world of Islam, and on top of them the issue of Palestine,” he said.
Ayatollah Khamenei said those Arab nations, who called on the US to accelerate addressing the issue of Palestine, have committed an act of treason and brought disgrace to the Arab world, if their request means removing any obstacle on the way of the Israeli regime.
They have also shown naivety, he said, because a blind cannot lead another blind.
The Leader finally called on the Palestinian people to stand firm and be patient and reiterated Iran’s support for their resistance.
“The Islamic Republic advocates and supports the resistance front and condemns the treacherous move of normalization with the usurping regime,” he said.
The Quds Day is held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan each year to commemorate the Palestinian people’s resistance against Israel and their struggle to liberate their territories occupied by the Zionist regime for decades.
