Leader Receives University Students

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received university students and members of university associations in a gathering on Tuesday, which coincided with the 24th day of the fasting month of Ramadan.
In the customary meeting, which was also attended by Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari, Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Ali Zolfigol and Minister of Health and Medical Education Bahram Einollahi, students from top universities took the podium to express their views on the current affairs and academic issues and offer their solutions to challenges facing the country.
The Leader on many occasions has underscored the significance of scientific and academic progress in helping resolve various problems, particularly economic woes.
Ayatollah Khamenei has also highlighted the role of knowledge and technology as the driving force behind the country’s development. 
He also named the current Iranian year as “the year of knowledge-based, job-creating production.”
